My Best Travel Advice

July 26, 2017 by Shaun Li Stoffer

Get out of the hotel room. The biggest waste of opportunity and money is going on holiday or vacation in a new city and spending all your time in your hostel or hotel room doing what you could’ve done at home for free. Get out and explore! See something new, stroll through a park, find an observation deck, have a local beer at a brewery. Drink it all in! Get off the beaten path and get a little lost. I […]

How to Spend a Weekend in Krakow

March 27, 2017 by Shaun Li Stoffer

Krakow, Poland was a place I came to for one reason, to see Auschwitz-Birkenau. Why? Because I love history and for whatever reason I’ve always had a fascination with World War 2 from playing first-person shooter games like Medal of Honor on Playstation 1 to re-watching films like Inglorious Bastards and The Pianist multiple times throughout the years. Quite simply learning about what people are capable of doing and enduring, good and bad, intrigues me in every way. Krakow is […]

Hidden Gems: 6 of Florida’s Most Underrated Road Trips

December 14, 2016 by Shaun Li Stoffer

It’s no secret Florida is most known for Orlando’s theme parks, Miami Beach, and Everglades National Park, but what else does Florida have to offer tourists and locals alike? Being a born and raised Floridian I’ve found six of the most underrated destinations for the weekend getaway or road trip in and around Florida. 1. Blowing Rocks Preserve in Hobe Sound, Florida: You can’t beat bouldering these cliffs while watching the tides roll in but keep in mind many of these rocks are sharp and sitting on most of […]

Preparing for Paris

September 14, 2016 by Shaun Li Stoffer

Why do I want to backpack through Paris? The Eiffel Tower, the Paris Catacombs, the Louvre and of course the food! Paris is a foodie’s delight renowned for their unpasteurized cheeses, caramels, macaroons, baguettes and last but not least wine. After saving up a few thousand dollars through a teaching contract in Orlando, doing my research on backpacking, and finding a cheap roundtrip ticket to Paris – I just pulled the trigger!  3 Apps You Must Download For Europe: MAPS.ME allows you to download maps of […]

I always wander wherever I go because I always stumble upon the best little gems like this little gallery/cafe where they had a set of hummingbird feeders hanging throughout the patio. I stopped and had a cappuccino and got to stand at point blank range with hummingbirds, finches, and more for over half an hour. They actually scared me more than anything because they zoom towards and around you like bullets and make a strong buzzing sound when they are in flight. At least two dozen tourists just passed by without taking a second glance during that time and I was blown away because this was one of the best things I've seen during my travels. . . . . . . . . #bucketlist #travelgram #lovetotravel #traveldairy #simplyadventure #exploretheworld #dametraveler #flashesofdelight #openmyworld #wheretofindme #mytinyatlas #beautifuldestinations #getaway #wanderlust #worldtravel #travelstoke #earthfocus #traveltherenext #worldnomads #thetraveltag #travelzoo #sharetravelpics #itravelbecause #traveladdicts #adventure #costarica #nature #centralamerica #monteverde #hummingbirds
